Monkstown Bay Sailing Club has just announced the dates for it’s annual Laser Winter League for full rigs. It commences on January 6th and is held every Saturday until February 10th. They are inviting sailors young and old to come and join in the fun. Charles Dwyer, event organiser advises that celebrity sailors and olympic hopefuls have signed up with 15 boats entered already. The format is FG at 10.15 each day and ashore by 12 noon having completed 3 races. They had up to 18 full rigs racing on Saturdays earlier this year and hope to beat this number in 2018. - First Gun – Boat Start 1015 (as close as possible to the Sandquay)
